Nubi is built to collect almost nothing. This page explains the one exception: the waitlist.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you type in. That's it. We don't collect names, locations, device data, or anything else on this site.
Why we collect it
To email you when the Kickstarter goes live, and for occasional updates about the launch. Nothing else. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for ads.
Who processes it
Waitlist submissions are handled by Formspree, a third-party form service. They store the submission on our behalf so we can email you. Read their own privacy policy for how they handle data.
How long we keep it
Until the Kickstarter launches and the waitlist has served its purpose, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
The product itself
Nubi the device works differently: it reads only whether your phone is locked or not. No camera, no mic, no location, no accounts, no cloud, no usage reports. Nothing about how you or your kid use it is ever stored or sent anywhere.
